Ursa Beach, just north of Cabo da Roca in Portugal, is a wild and secluded cove framed by dramatic sea stacks and rugged cliffs. Accessible only by a steep, rocky trail, it feels untouched and raw, with powerful Atlantic waves crashing against the shore. We hiked down the ‘steep’ trail which was said to be dangerous but we didn’t think so. At sunset the people were gone and we had beach to ourselves.
