The village of Passy is nearby the the famous ski town of Chamonix, its well known by locals but often overlooked by tourists. There is a little known picnic spot up the mountain that has a magical view of the Mont Blanc Massif, as sunset the light illuminates the peaks of the massif making it look like its straight out of a fairytale.
